This chalice is made after several originals from the 1st to 4th century AD. Chalices like this were produced in the south of Gaul. In the workshops (officinae) techniques of semi mass production were used, as a result a lot of these chalices have been excavated.
This chalice is made of red earthenware. It is decorated with a flower-shaped relief and below it Charites are depicted. It has a height of 13 cm and a diameter of 15 cm. This chalice is completely handmade in the authentic way.
