This dish is a replica of dozens of originals excavated all over the Roman empire. Dishes like this were used between the 1st and 4th century AD and were produced in the east of Gaul. In the workshops (officinae) techniques of semi mass production were used, as a result a lot of these dishes have been excavated.

This dish is made of red earthenware. It is decorated with a styled relief. It has a height of 5,3 cm and has a diameter of 16 cm. The dish is completely handmade in the traditional way.
