This relief is made after a tombstone from the 1st century AD. Marcus Caelius was a centurion in the 18th legion Augusta. He was killed in the year 9 AD in the battle against Varus. This stone is the only written prove of the well-known battle at the Teutoburger wald, where three legions were destroyed by the Germanic tribes.

This stone is delivered in seven fragments. They can be painted, as was the case for the original stone. The stone can be used as a puzzle for young and old.

This relief is made of plaster alabaster and measures 20 x 10 cm.
