This rapier is made after a French original from approx. 1650. Rapiers like this were mainly made in France, Spain and Italy. Nowadays it is part of the collection of Museé de l?Armeé in Paris.
The rapier has a hilt that is characterized by two large guards that are engraved with a sun motive. The length of this rapier is 106,5 cm with a blade of 86 cm and a cross-guard of 16 cm. It weighs approx. 900 grams.

This sword is designed for longetivity by using more advanced forging techniques and paying extra attention to weight and flexibility. The razor sharp version is suitable for intensive cutting tests.
