This phallus is a replica of an original excavated in Pompeii. A lot of phalluses were excavated in Pompeii, they symbolized luck, creativity and fertility. This phallus is depicted above the oven of one of the more than thirty bakeries in the city.
The phallus is accompanied by the text `Hic Habitat Felicitas`: Here lives luck (fertility / happiness). Nowadays this phallus is part of the forbidden museum in Napels. This relief is made of red terracotta just like the original. It measures 20 x 27 cm. The back contains an eye to hang it to the wall.
