This helmet is based on a helmet depicted in the Wapenhandelinge of Jacob de Gheyn. Helmets like this were worn by armies in whole Europe in the late 16th and 17th century. They were worn both by the pikemen and the musketeers.
The helmet is provided with a crest holder and the cheek flaps consist of four different parts. The helmet can easily be attached with a chin strap.
