This patera is a replica of various pieces. They were used during the 1st to 4th century AD. They were made in Southern Gaul by pottery workshops (officinae); during production some sort of mass production was used.
This patera is made of red pottery ( Terra Sigillata) and decorated with reliefs of a woman on a dressing table. It has a diameter of 36 cm. This patera is fully hand made following the traditional techniques.
Washing-up instructions: Wash by hand, not suitable for dishwashing machines.
