This bow is made after several images of Mongolian archers on horseback. The Mongolian troop was known for its capabilities in cavalry and archery. They cooled their newly forged arrow points in salt water, as a result of which they were able to pierce through hauberks.
This bow is made with the ideology that it was the most valuable possession of the equestrian, beside his horse. The bow is made with extra precision, because of which the layers of wood are used to the limit. At the inside the bow is provided with glass wool layers, which enable the high draw weights. The grip is made of ash wood and walnut wood. Its length is 141,5 cm (56?) and it can best be used with arrows with a length of approx. 80 cm (32?).
