This armet is made after a 16th century German original. Helmets like this were used for battle, but mainly during tournaments. The armet is clearly made in the German style.
The helmet can be opened in three different parts, which can create a large field of view. The visor is provided with small air holes to reduce the risk of incoming splinters. The helmet has a helmet peak which is a classicist trend. The edges are ornamented with rope-shaped ends, originally a German tradition.
The armour is made of cold rolled plate steel.
