This relief is a replica of an original excavated in Mainz. Nowadays it is part of the collection of the National Museum in Mainz. The relief depicts two armoured legionaries. They wear the type Weisenau helmets. The original dates from the early Flavian period.

This relief is made of plaster alabaster and measures 26 x 20 cm. The back is provided with an eye for hanging it to a wall.
