Coats like this were worn between approx. 1520 and 1550 by Landsknecht officers. The coat is made after depictions on German woodcuts and the tapestry of the Battle of Pavia. It is made of wool and linen and shows no sewing machine patterns. On request it is also available handmade.

Washing prescriptions: Hand wash, possibly wool wash program in the washing machine. Wool has self-maintaining properties and needs only be washed when heavily soiled. Otherwise, you can just ventilate your garments in the open air.
