Product description

This Katzbalger is made after several originals from 1520. Short swords like this were mainly worn by the German landsknechten.

It is an S-shaped cross-guard and the blade is provided with four fullers. The length of this Katzbalger is 79,5 cm with a blade of 64,5 cm and a cross-guard of 14 cm. The pommel is made of brass.

This sword is an Oakeshott type XXI.
