This sword is a replica of an original found in the Seine in Paris. The sword is one of the earlier types of hand-and-a-half swords and has a simple but effective grip. Swords like this are part of several private collections and of collections of museums like Musée de L?Armée in Paris.

This sword has a length of 106 cm with a blade of 87 cm and a cross-guard of 23 cm. It weighs approx. 1,7 kg. This sword is an Oakeshott type XVa.

This sword is custom made.

Suitable for re-enactment and martial arts. The razor sharp version is suitable for cutting tests. The blade is handmade and tempered, using traditional forging techniques.

This item cannot be shipped to countries outside the EU due to its length.
