This is a replica of a helmet from approx. 1375 that was found in the family tomb of the Rieter von Kornburg und Kalbensteinbergs from Nuremberg. The original is nowadays part of the collection of the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg and presumably it was produced in the same city.
This great helmet is made of 1,3 mm thick steel. It is suitable for a head circumference of 62 cm. The chainmail of this helmet consists of unriveted round rivets.

Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
