This fibula is a replica of an original found on the early medieval cemetery of Goldsborough, England. It was found together with three Anglo-Saxon coins, several Islamic coins and a Scandinavian distel fibula.
The original had unfortunately lost its needle and was made of silver. The reproduction of this needle is made after the needle of another original. The Runes on this fibula say: mi-n dveg-r (my fibula).
This fibula is completely handmade of bronze and has a diameter of 7 cm. It has a needle with a length of 7,3 cm.
