This sallet is made after a German original. Helmets like this were part of the typical development of the German plate armour.
Sallets like this were worn during the 15thcentury and were i.a. used in the 100 Years War between England and France, the War of the Roses, the wars against the Turks and the battle at Flodden between England and Scotland.
The helmet is made of 1,5 mm thick steel, has a leather inlay and is available in the sizes M M (head circumference up to 61 cm) and L (head circumference up to 63 cm).

Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
