This helmet is based on one of the eight helmets that are found in Valsgarde, Sweden. The original dates from the middle of the 7th century, the Vendel period.
The helmet is made of 1,8 mm thick steel and is finished with brass. It can be fastened under the chin with a leather strap. It is available in the sizes M and L. Size M is suitable for a head circumference of 63 cm, size L is suitable for a head circumference of 65 cm, measured including an arming cap or a coif.

Choosing the size that fits you best
Add 3,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear an arming cap under your helmet.
Add 2,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Add 6 cm to your head circumference if you wear both an arming cap and a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
