This kettle hat is made after several 12th century originals. This variant was also used after the 12th century and it is frequently depicted in the Maciejowski Bible.
The helmet is made of 1,6 mm thick steel and has an edge of 2 mm thick steel. It is solidified with steel bands. It has a leather inlay and it can be fastened under the chin with a leather strap. The kettle hat is available in size M (for a head circumference of 63 cm) and L (for a head circumference of 65 cm). The head circumference is measured including an arming cap or a coif.
