Bascinets like this were used around the beginning of the 2nd half of the 14th century. The bascinets were simpler than the great helmet but provided a better peripheral view.
This bascinet is provided with a detachable nose-guard. It has an integrated coif of riveted chain mail (round rings riveted). The helmet is made of 2,0 mm thick steel and is provided with a helmet inlay. It is available in the sizes M and L. Size M is suitable for a head circumference up to 61 cm, size L up to 63 cm.

Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
