The bucket helmet was developed from the nasal helmet and was used from the beginning of the 12th century onwards. Helmets like this were used during i.a. the Norman wars in Sicily and the Crusades.

The helmet is made of 2,0 mm thick steel, is provided with a leather inlay and has a chin strap. It is available in the sizes S (head circumference up to 59 cm), M (head circumference up to 61 cm) and L (head circumference up to 63 cm).

Choosing the size that fits you best
Add 3,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear an arming cap under your helmet.
Add 2,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Add 6 cm to your head circumference if you wear both an arming cap and a chainmail coif under your helmet.

Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
