This rapier is a replica of a French original from 1640 AD. Rapiers like this were mainly used in the 1st half of the 17th century. Nowadays it is part of the collection of Museé de l?Armeé in Paris.

This rapier is equipped with a simple but luxurious grip. It is provided with a shell-shaped guard. The round pommel is made in a styled shape of a crown and the straight cross-guards are made of twisted iron. Its length is 110 cm with a blade of 92 cm and a cross-guard of 20 cm and a ricasso of 6 cm x 5 mm x 4,3 cm. The rapier weighs approx. 900 grams.

This rapier is custom made.

This sword is designed for longetivity by using more advanced forging techniques and paying extra attention to weight and flexibility. The razor sharp version is suitable for intensive cutting tests.

This item is produced in limited quantities only. This means that every piece is unique. Sizes & finish may vary lightly from piece to piece.
