This jar is a replica of an 8th century original excavated in Badorf, Germany. Jars like this were used between the 5th and 9th century all over Europe. They were often used by the Germanic tribes, Vikings, Anglo-Saxons and Franks.

This jar (depicted on the left and right in the image) is completely handmade and has a volume of approx. 2,5 l.

Washing-up instructions: Wash by hand, not suitable for dishwashing machines.
