This pot is made after a 7th century Frankish original. In any case they occurred in The Netherlands, Germany and some regions of France. Possibly pots like this were also used by the Viking people of Scandinavia. It is completely handmade of clay from the Rhineland that was traded to The Netherlands, Germany and Italy around the Middle Ages.
The length of the pot is 8 cm and it has an exterior circumference of approx. 25 cm.
