From 1095 until 1372 dozens of Christian armies, insisted by the church, travelled to the Holy Country to liberate it from the Islamic Saracens. Nowadays these nine crusades are still a source of inspiration.
This set is made after the outfits that were regularly worn by the knight orders of the 12th and 13th centuries. The colours and types of crosses are made on request for several military orders. The set consists of a cloak, an undertunic, a tunic, a shirt, braies (a medieval undergarment), chausses, a belt and a cap.

Washing prescriptions: Hand wash, possibly wool wash program in the washing machine. Wool has self-maintaining properties and needs only be washed when heavily soiled. Otherwise, you can just ventilate your garments in the open air.
