This sword is made after the most occurring type of Crusader Sword. It has a light weight, is strong and not too long. As a result it could be easily used both on foot and on horseback.
This type of sword (Oakeshott type XI) was used since the late Viking Age. The Frankish and Carolingian kings used them just like the Normandic rulers. This sword is patinated and can be used blunt (battle-ready), semi-sharp or sharp.
The blade has a length of 81,5 cm and is made of carbon steel with a hardness of 52 to 54 HRC. Its point of balance is situated 10,5 cm below the cross-guard. This sword has a total length of 99 cm and its grip is 17,2 cm long.
