This sword is made after several Celtic swords from the 6th and 5th century BC. This type of sword dates from the Hallstatt culture, the first Celtic period. Swords like this were used all over Central and Northern Europe.

This sword is handmade. The leaf shaped blade is 50 cm long and made of carbon steel with a hardness of 54 HRC. The hilt is made of iron. The sword is 67,5 cm long and weighs ca. 1 kg. This early Celtic sword is a good example of the capability and flexibility that is common for short swords like this.
