This replica is made after a Spanish falcata from the 3th-4th century BC. The original is nowadays part of the collection of Musée de l?Armée in Paris.
The sword is 63 cm long, with a blade of 52 cm long. The hilt is made of bone and brass and is decorated in the Hallstatt style of art. The wooden scabbard is covered with red leather and decorated with brass ornaments. The falcata comes with a 23 cm long knife made of bone and carbon steel.
This item is semi-sharp and designed for decorative purposes. It can be made razor sharp at a surcharge.
