This sword is a replica of an original found in Northern-France, dating from 480-280 BC. Nowadays it is part of the collection of the British Museum in London. Similar models are found all over the Celtic World.
This sword is 79,5 cm long, with a leaf shaped blade of 59 cm long. The hilt is 9 cm long and is made of four pieces of hard wood. The leaf shaped blade gives the sword an impact of an axe and is forged from carbon steel with a hardness of 54 HRC. The sword weighs 0,8 kg.
