These greaves are made after the greaves from the early 15th century Avant armour. The greaves are made in the Italian style that was mainly produced in Milan around this period. Nowadays they are part of the collection of the Glasgow Museum.
They are made of 2 mm thick steel and can easily be attached to the lower legs. They are made after several late medieval Milanese originals and they can be worn well combined with other armour.
