This Spangenhelm is a replica of an 11th century original found in Augsburg (Germany). Helmets like this were used in whole Europe between the 10th and 12th century.
The helmet is made of 2 mm thick steel. The steel straps and the 3 mm thick nose protector are screwed to the helmet. The helmet is delivered including a leather inlay and a chin strap. It is available in two sizes.
The size M is suitable for a head circumference up to 61 cm.
The size L is suitable for a head circumference up to 64 cm.
