The falchion was a European sword that was used between the 11th and 16th century.
It was a single-edged sword and its model combined the qualities of a sword and an axe.
This falchion has a length of 88 cm with a blade of 71 cm and a cross-guard of 18 cm. It weighs about 1,2 kg. The blade has a Rockwell hardness of 44-48 HRC.
This sword is made by Jiri Krondak from Prague. During the last 20 years, this line of swords proved themselves on the re-enactment fields. They are continually perfectionised to a reliable and inexpensive type of re-enactment swords.
