This mug is made after a 15th century German original found in Siegburg. Mugs like this were principally made in Germany and traded to whole Europe.

The mug is made of clay from the Rhineland and it is baked in the flame oven (a 15th century invention). The oven gives the mug its unique colour that differs per item. Its height is 8 cm.
