This hunting spear is a replica of a German original from 1430. Spears like this were used all over Europe between the 15th and 17th century. They were used during the hunt for killing boars. Despite the size and the impact of the spear this was a dangerous affair! This spear has a 2 metre long shaft. The tip has a length of 42 cm and it has a head of 26 cm.
