Around the 15th century the fork was only used in the upper classes of the European society. The only forks that occurred had two teeth and were exclusively used for cutting meat.
This set gives a good impression of the luxurious ornaments that were used in that period. It is made after several 15th century examples. The length of the fork is 18 cm and the length of the knife is 23 cm with a blade that measures 14 cm. The set is delivered including a pouch and is deliverable with a horn or wooden grip.
Washing-up instructions: Clean with water and dry. After cleaning, coat with oil against rust. Keep dry. Rust can be easily removed with steelwool or sandpaper.
