The falchion was a European sword that was used between the 11th and 16th century. It was a single-edged sword and its model combined the qualities of a sword and an axe.

This re-enactment falchion is made of 0,55% carbon steel, 1,75% silicium, 0,75% manganese, 0,05% sulphur and 0,05% phosphorus (EN45 steel). It has a Rockwell hardness of 52 to 54 HRC. This falchion is made in Scotland.
