This cabasset and bevor are made after a 15th century set that was originally part of the armour of Emperor Maximilian the 1st of the Holy Roman Empire. Helmets like this were popular among both infantrymen and the cavalry. They offered an optimal field of view and they could survive large impacts. The original is nowadays part of the collection of the National Museum in Vienna.

Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
